This is a series of digital photographs and prints inspired by the conservation efforts of Robert M. Behnke and his lifetime work to restore the pure strain species of trout and char in America.  His scientific and field work with trout faced many controversies and issues such as the Greenback trout was settled after his passing away, and I have tried to suggest what he knew of these fish,

the story of these fish, and why they should be preserved forever in the selection of photographs chosen to represent each species.

For each species  there is a single image and often shown and sold with  a larger collage image.  The prints are of high resolution digital quality, printed with archival inks and papers and  in limited edition of fifty prints each.  All prints will be titled, numbered and signed.
